You found the “review of reviews” for Yevade Subramanyam on this site a few days back. Here is the review by Samantha Tamma.

Yevade Subramanyam (YS) is one of those rare feel good movies that have come up in the last few weeks. It has resemblances with random Hindi films like– Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara etc, but only resemblances.  In essence this is a different movie. Krish of Gamyam fame is known for his “human Touch” movies in our industry. While his style is serious provocation YS takes a realistic comedy approach. It is the loudness of your laughter that brings about the message. A few scenes like bidding farewell to Chandramukhi, caterpillar scenes and Nani’s rationality for Ria are bang on.

The film already has the distinction of being the first Telugu films shot in Everest foot hills and the nature scape in second half is excellent. The songs are quite soothing and the movie is worth the one soothing Ilayaraaja’s presence. Nani stands out in several scenes.Performances of Malavika and Vijay Devarakonda are good. The dialogues written for Krishnam Raju are a bonus.

PS* – Watch it for the way it portrays existential questions in a lighter way !!
