A week ago I have seen Patas and yet could not motivate myself write the review. But having seen Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju yesterday, I feel there is a lot to miss, if the movie is not reached out to people. Let me make one point clear upfront – that the movie is a love story. Not a mix masala – wholesome – larger than life all ingredients mix package that Telugu Cinemas are supposed to be. Sharvanand and Nithya Menon have a magic in picking up their scripts like – Ala Modaliandi or Run Raaja Run. This was is no less.

The tunes of marhaba and enno enno are already very popular and are very apt in the movie adding their sense of soothing.

It was Trivikram who started the trend of saying very very short deep emotional dialogues with ease, depth and sincerity. This movie takes the dialogue writing art –script writing if we have to call it – to an altogether different level. Every sentence is like poetry but still simple. Another great reason to watch the move is the way it captured the beauty of Vizag and the beach. For a second we forget that there was Hud Hud in that place. The dawns in the beach are a great thing to see.

I am still not sure why Ilayaraaja was thanked in the credits, but for those who like his tunes, this movie is like one of them. The romantics must not miss it at all!
